The Capitol Hill Restoration Society is open to all who have an interest in Capitol Hill, including renters and individuals living outside the boundaries of the Historic District. Please support CHRS in order to:

• Influence decisions that affect Capitol Hill’s quality of life;
  
• Be able to call upon the assistance of a cadre of experienced civic activists;
  
• Express your views and vote at CHRS meetings on matters that affect you, your neighbors, and your community;
  
• Ensure that CHRS represents you when it testifies before governmental
  boards and bodies;
  
• Meet Capitol Hill residents who share your interests and concerns;
  
• Take part in the Society’s standing committees and become involved
  in important issues;
  
• Make the Society larger and stronger — all the better to make
  decision-makers listen!

• All members receive the CHRS newsletter containing in-depth coverage of issues important to Capitol Hill residents, a set of Historic Guidelines, and the opportunity to buy discounted tickets for the House and Garden Tour.
  

Members supporting CHRS at higher levels will receive the basic benefits
plus these gifts:

• Members who support CHRS at the $250 or above level will be
  recognized in the newsletter and will receive two tickets to the House
  & Garden Tour.
  
  
• Members who support CHRS at the $500 or above level will be
  recognized in the newsletter and will receive four tickets to the House
  & Garden Tour.
  
  
• Members who support CHRS at the $1,000 or above level will be
  recognized in the newsletter and the House & Garden Tour booklet
  and will receive eight tickets for the Tour and a copy of The Majesty

CHRS is volunteer-run a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and dues are tax-deductible t
o the extent of the law. The tax-deductible portion of your donation is your membership fee gift minus the good faith estimate of the value of benefits you receive, unless you waive such benefits.
